I recently mounted this scout scope on my Marlin 1895 SBL, and I couldn’t be happier with both the aesthetics and performance. The stainless finish paired with the grey laminate stock and stainless see-through rings makes the rifle look absolutely fantastic—clean, sharp, and purpose-built.
From a performance standpoint, the scope exceeded my expectations. I got it dialed in quickly—after just three initial shots and two minor adjustments, I was consistently shooting 1-inch groups at 100 yards with .45-70 rounds. That level of accuracy out of a lever-action rifle with a heavier caliber is impressive and speaks to the quality of the optic.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this scope and will definitely be purchasing another one in the future. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their lever-action setup. -
